  • Games from U8-U14 will be scheduled by each coach
  • Fiddles do not play organized games against other teams
  • One game per week, depending on player and team availabilities. Typically one weekend game with a weeknight game sprinkled in here and there
  • Home games at Stringham Park, away games to be played within 30ish minutes of Stringham Park
  • Season-ending tournament held at Somers HS the first weekend of June

Full equipment is required for all age groups from U8-U14 (stick, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, mouth guard and an appropriate helmet; protective cups are recommended).

Fiddles only need a stick, which can be provided by ALLC.

All players will need a valid USA Lacrosse membership ($30/year) to register. USA Lacrosse is recommending, as is the Hudson Valley Youth Lacrosse Association, that children do not play up a grade level.

If registration numbers dictate more than one team at any age level, registrants will be distributed prior to the start of the season by the head coaches and Boys Director. All families will be informed of which team their son is participating on via email prior to the start of the season (if necessary).

All of the ALLC coaches are volunteers. They will vary from season to season depending on the need at each grade level, as well as the interest level from the community to volunteer and assist.

ALLC is always looking for volunteers and the high school coaching staff is always ready to help implement practice planning tips and coaching techniques to assist these volunteers.
