IMPORTANT UNIFORM ORDERING DETAILS

  • Reversible jersey is required. All other items are optional.
  • You must verify the number you have been assigned on the Teamsnap Roster prior to ordering. You are not guaranteed your first or second choice. The number assigned on the roster will be your number for the season.

SPRING GIRLS LACROSSE

  • The regular spring season typically runs for 9-10 weeks. (April, May, and early June).
  • Spring season starts in early April (weather and field conditions permitting) and ends in early June with a culminating event or tournament.

PRACTICES:

  • Lillies (kindergarten and pre-k)
    • Clinic style one day per week (day/time TBD)
    • April and May

 

  • Grades 1-6 (U8 1st/2nd, U10 3rd/4th and U12/5th/6th)
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15-7:45 PM (may be as early as 5:45-7:15pm at coaches discretion) with the possibility of some Saturday mornings
    • Weekends to be determined by each team's coach and availability to schedule games
    • 8-10 games plus tournament

 

  • Grades 7-8 (U14)
    • Games only Saturday mornings to supplement ACSD Modified players
    • 8-10 games plus tournament

 

GAMES: Based on USA Lacrosse Guidelines

  • Scheduled with Town and School Sponsored Lacrosse Clubs in cooperation with the Hudson Valley Chapter of USA Lacrosse.
  • Games will be played against other Hudson Valley Chapter of USA Lacrosse Town Sponsored Teams.
  • Games and practices are conducted according to the rules set by the National Federation of State High School Associations and USA Lacrosse Youth Rules with modification.
  • USA lacrosse is recommending, as is the Hudson Valley Youth Lacrosse Association, that children should not play up.

Instructional Goals

  • Provide a SAFE and FUN playing environment.
  • Emphasis on instilling, maintaining, and nurturing the love of Arlington lacrosse’s tradition of excellence and pride.
  • Introduction, instruction and positive reinforcement of strong fundamental lacrosse skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Arlington H.S. Lacrosse System implemented into all practices and games.

 

NOTE:
If registration numbers dictate more than one team at any age level, registrants will be equally distributed prior to the start of the season by the head coaches and Girls Director.

All families will be informed of which team their daughter is participating on via email prior to the start of the season (if necessary).

Girls HOME FIELDS:

  • Home fields are located at Stringham Park in the Town of LaGrange, NY.
  • The park encompasses athletic fields (soccer, lacrosse, baseball), a children's playground, bathrooms, and parking.
